Plane takes 4 hours or so.<\/p>\n The positive news is that the train\u00a0does not cost\u00a0not a lot more. You can take bikes on the train (presumably not on the flights without loads of extra cost), but a tandem is only going to be possible if it can be folded down to the size of a single bike, then ideally put in a custom bike bag of some sort.
