We planned to return to Horning later, to try to locate the water taxi to Woodbastick Staithe, to allow us to take an alternative route home south. This\u00a0appeared tricky to track down &#8211; some locals even said that it was no longer in service. If we failed to find it later we would just return home via Ludham again, but we fancied trying the alternative route if we could. For now, we cycled on to Neatishead, and took a trip on the Solar Powered Boat, <a title=\"http:\/\/www.broads-authority.gov.uk\/visiting\/activities\/boat-trips-1.html\" href=\"http:\/\/www.broads-authority.gov.uk\/visiting\/activities\/boat-trips-1.html\"><strong>the Ra<\/strong><\/a>.<br \/>\n<script>img(\"2009\/09\/01\/nb\/1347-neatishead-ra-boat.jpg\",\"The Solar Powered Boat, Ra\");img(\"2009\/09\/01\/nb\/1452-neatishead-bartonbroad-from-ra-boat.jpg\",\"Barton Broad seen from the Ra\");<\/script><br \/>\n<strong>View of the Ra Solar Powered Boat, and Barton Broad seen from the Ra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We returned to Horning and after\u00a0asking several locals we found the water taxi, loaded up the tandem and\u00a0headed to Woodbastwick.<\/p>\n<p>We then\u00a0cycled South East\u00a0via Ranworth and\u00a0South Walsham, then skirted along the back roads via Pilson Green, Cargate\u00a0Green and Upton to Acle,\u00a0returning North East up the A1064 and B1152\u00a0to Clippesby.\u00a0It has to be said that the last stretch from Acle is not very pleasant on a bike as it is a busy road and rather narrow, so we tended to avoid it on our other journeys.
