Our first day started off somewhat overcast and rainy, but soon warmed and brightened up. Most of this leg was spent travelling through the sand dunes on the LF1 coastal path amid very attractive scenery.

The dutch grow some strange looking mushrooms. They are large and square looking, and far too tough to eat. I’m not sure how you would get one into a wok to stir fry it either…..

2008 will be the second year we have done this ride.

We are leaving on the evening of Monday 28th July, and returning on the morning of Monday 4th August.
