Hello and welcome to our small corner of the web!
We are a couple who like to tour the UK and Europe on our tandem, and this site is a journal of our travels. When we are on a trip we will try to post updates and photos as we travel. This will be dependant on the availability of wifi/internet cafes or reasonable data roaming charges for our mobiles (cheap in the UK but very still very pricey in europe at the moment).
You can feed back comments on our posts if you find anything of particular interest, have a question, or would just like to say hi. You can also subscribe to the site to receive email notifications of new posts, by clicking on the ‘Email Notification’ link on the left.
This site is best viewed (and has been tested with) Firefox (2 & 3), Safari (3.2.2), Opera (Mobile 8.6), or IE7. It will work with IE6, but as IE6’s transparent PNG support is broken, the tandem logo in the page header and the next/previous page arrows will not display correctly. Other browsers have not been tested. I will not be fixing issues with IE6 or older browsers.
In addition to our travelogue, we will be creating other pages of information related to tandems, such as our experiences with different items of equipment, solutions we have found helpful, and travel information about the various countries we have visited.
